A one-week (36-hour) culmination of all the Work Zone Traffic Technician classes. This class focuses on the ODOT WTS Prequalification Testing. The topics that will be covered are: the OMUTCD, Standard Construction Drawings, Construction Material Standards, Quality Standards for Traffic Control Devices, WZSZ, DSL, and more. A trainer from ODOT’s TIM program will conduct a seminar on Traffic Incident Management and how to best coordinate with first responders in the event of traffic incident emergencies in the work zone. Students will create a MyODOT account and complete the required CITP Module 5 in class, and on the last day of the course, take the ODOT WTS Exam online.

Prerequisites: Successful completion of WZTT 1 and 2, or 2000 hours of verifiable experience in setting up Traffic Control Zones from a contractor.
