This 3-day, 24 hour course, introduces participants to the basic knowledge of solar farm, what they are and how they are built.

Topics include:

• an overview of how solar farms create electrical current and supply it to the grid
• key terms and components
• design considerations
• complete building, installation and disassembly of solar structures
• different types of farm designs

Worker safety is vital and will always be emphasized and discussed throughout our lessons.

Hands on activities may include: installing posts, building the racking system, assembling and installing PV (photovoltaic) modules to the racking system, as well as the use of the needed power tools.
