A three and a half day (28 hour) course on the basic knowledge of hoisting, rigging and crane signaling.  The course contents include terminology, types of tackle, inspection and proper rigging and signaling practices  There will be written and hands-on evaluation for both rigging and crane signaling.

The classroom portion of the class includes instruction on the various types of rigging, sling angles, rigging inspection and hand signals.  The hands-on portion involves the trainee applying what they learned by working with a crane to rig and signal various types of lifts.
