A one-week course in gunning concrete.

Subject matter covered in the course includes:

• Job set-up

• Nozzleman and gunman responsibilities

• Gunning techniques

• Care and maintenance of equipment and hoses

• Thickness control and methods of finishing

Graduates must demonstrate the ability to set-up, maintain and operate gunite machines to a proficiency that will insure a smooth and continuous flow of material to the nozzle as well as a knowledge of the principals involved in nozzling.
