A 1-week course in the Global Positioning System (GPS). The course includes a basic explaination of GPS, how the GPS works, how it is used in construction for cut and fill opertions. Trainees will be instructed in the proper use of GPS equipment, storing and recalling points, creating lines and curves and setting of slope stakes.

Successful completion of A-1 Measurements and Leveling Instruments, and A-2 Introduction to Transits.
