David Baer

David joined OLTC in 2022 as a Maintenance Technician and is a member of Local 1216. Dave was formerly the lead mechanic for Mount Vernon City Schools. David holds his Class A CDL with Air-brake, tanker, double-triples endorsements. His duties at the training center include: running lab equipment, mowing and groundskeeping, preparing and cleaning labs, and performing maintenance on equipment.

Luke Baer

Luke joined OLTC in 2026 as the Facilities Utility Technical Specialist. His duties at the training center include: Repair and attention to HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, Maintenance Logs/Records, and general facilities maintenance. Luke was formerly the Maintenance Director for Danville Local Schools and Senior Maintenance Technician for Mount Vernon City Schools. Luke holds a metal fabrication certification from Knox Career Center, American Trainco certification for electrical troubleshooting & preventative maintenance.

Joshua Grennell

Josh joined OLTC in 2026 as a Maintenance Technician and is a member of Local 1216. Josh was formerly a bus mechanic for Danville and East Knox Local Schools, holds his Class B CDL endorsement, and fire fighter certification from the Knox Career Center. Josh is a skilled mechanic and maintenance professional with experience in hydraulic systems, small engine repair, school bus maintenance and repair.

Anthony Gilmore

Anthony joined OLTC in 2026 as a Maintenance Technician and is a member of Local 1216. Anthony was previously a Manager at Nutrien Ag over operations and facility systems and holds a Bachelor's Degree from Wilmington College. Anthony is a heavy equipment operator, experience in fleet maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping.
