The Ohio Laborers' Training Center is the training facility for the Ohio Laborers' Union, an affiliate of the Laborers' International Union of North America.
Located in east Knox County, the Ohio Laborers' Training Center, dedicated "Drexel J. Thrash Training Center" in 1978, is a 66,215 square-foot training structure built on 119 acres of scenic rolling hills. The training center facilities encompass:
Eight classrooms
Three training laboratories
Numerous outdoor training areas & training-specific outbuildings
Member facilities, including fifty-six dorm rooms & a fully-staffed cafeteria
Our goal is to train and equip our members with the knowledge and technical skills needed to become highly skilled, safe, and employable leaders on the jobsite.
RESOURCES & AMENITIES
Members taking classes at OLTC are provided with various resources so they can focus on learning and participating in their classes.
These resource & amenities include:

Housekeeping services
Laundry facilities
A fully-staffed cafeteria, providing three hot meals a day, a fully-stocked salad bar, fountain drinks, desserts, and snacks

Dorm Rooms
Staying at OLTC
Members taking classes at OLTC can stay on campus in our dorms at no cost.
Unless at full capacity, members who choose to stay on campus during their training classes are allotted a private room with a bed, desk, bathroom, and shower.
All members staying in the dorms have access to optional housekeeping services, laundry facilities, and communal lounge spaces.
Students may stay on campus the night before their scheduled classes, but they must arrive at OLTC between 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM check in with the night manager.
