A 1-week course in the Global Positioning System (GPS). The course includes a basic explaination of GPS, how the GPS works, how it is used in construction for cut and fill opertions. Trainees will be instructed in the proper use of GPS equipment, storing and recalling points, creating lines and curves and setting of slope stakes.

* Pre-requisites:

Completion of the Advanced Instruments course or 500 hours verified field experience in advanced instrument work (Total Stations).
